Simon fitted a brand new kitchen, levelled and laid a new floor in the kitchen and utility room, and hung doors throughout our downstairs. From our initial contact we had complete confidence in him. His workmanship was excellent and his patience and dedication to delivering the perfect kitchen for us was superb. We're delighted with the result and this is down to Simon's professionalism. He was a really easy person to have in our home, and did everything he could to make the experience stress free for us. He dealt with a few unforeseen problems with the design that were not due to him excellently.

Simon built a bespoke media wall which was exactly how I had pictured it, I could not be more pleased. Everything went to plan, was completed as arranged in the estimated amount of time. Simon always cleaned up at the end of the day and was careful to not cause any damage when coming and going with materials. I would highly recommend for any future carpentry projects

Simon was recommended to us for a small project …. that grew into quite a renovation. His carpentry skills are second to none, his attention to detail unquestioned … and his patience while we dithered and changed our minds mid flow was repeatedly tested! Simon has recently replaced our old fashioned and badly painted staircase with a new modern looking oak staircase and we are delighted with the results. Simon’s workmanship is excellent and he is extremely considerate by keeping noise and mess to a minimum. He is a real pleasure to have around the house and we would not hesitate to recommend him. Simon also switched a fitted wardrobe from one room to another and built a whole new wardrobe with large sliding mirror doors. Again his work was excellent and we absolutely love the new wardrobe which is designed and organised exactly how we wanted it.

When we booked our kitchen earlier this year there was only one carpenter we wanted to fit it! We first booked Simon 5 years ago to rebuild our staircase, build a bespoke book shelf and panel our bedroom. All of his work was exactly to brief, exceeding our expectations. Not only is his carpentry excellent, he is clean, tidy and really cares about his work. Simon goes out of his way to ensure every tiny detail is perfect. We also had a new floor that Simon recommended, an LVT from Project Flooring at Headlands Carpets. Simon levelled the existing floor before laying it and we couldn’t be happier. Simon is amazing, and transformed our kitchen. Cannot praise him highly enough, so meticulous and hard working. Simon gave us advice throughout the build and kept us informed. Simon is also very clean and left it in a liveable state for us during the project. Cannot recommend him enough, will definitely be my go to carpenter now. Thank you once again.

Simon previously fitted a new stair banister for us and we were very impressed with the work so asked him back to fit a new kitchen, bathroom and en-suite. Work was completed within the agreed time frame of 6-7 weeks and pricing was very reasonable. We honestly can't fault Simon's high level of work, his excellent communication, problem solving/solution-focused approach, time management etc. Having work done on the house can be stressful but Simon completely eliminated this. He always tidied at the end of the day to a high standard and provided good ideas. Simon is also very easy to get on with which definitely makes a difference and is very knowledgeable in what he is doing. We wouldn't use anyone else now for future work except Simon. We are over the moon with the final result.

Simon built amd installed 2 wardrobes, we are extremely happy with his work. They were finished with excellent detail and so neat and tidy, so pleased. The area was always left clean and tidy. Simon's communication is also something I really like. I would have no hesitation in recommending Simon, in fact he is booked in for another job next month.

We are delighted with our recent oak and glass staircase renovation carried out by Simon from at HiLine. Excellent service from start to finish. He visited, listened to what we were looking for and gave a written quote. We were given a start date which was met and he replied to messages very promptly. His work is of a very high standard and he cleared up frequently as he went along. A friendly person who we felt very comfortable working for us. We have recently had a complete kitchen fitted by Simon. We are so pleased with the excellent finished product. He is very professional and pays a lot of attention to fine detail. He is also a very tidy worker. We are so relieved we chose him to do the job. We have no hesitation in recommending him to anyone. In fact he is going to refit our bathroom in the near future.
